Request for Assistance – Thompson Middle School
Thompson Middle School is committed to supporting all students and families. With a large school community, it can be challenging for staff to identify every need—so we encourage students and parents to let us know when support is needed.
If you or your child would benefit from academic, social, emotional, or other support, please complete a Request for Assistance form. Forms are available:

In the front office
Once submitted, our Tier I and/or Tier II team will review the request and follow up with the individual who submitted it. Tier II supports are designed to help students who need a little extra help beyond the support all students receive. These targeted interventions might include small group instruction, regular check-ins with a counselor or mentor, or additional academic or social-emotional support. Our goal is to provide the right help at the right time so every student can thrive. Support may include:

A referral to services outside of school if needed
